A 3 Year Old Ring

Image
A few years ago on January 26, it was raining. It was cold and blustery. I remember wanting to wear a dress to a combined birthday party for my husband and nephew.  However due to the rain, I had to wear jeans & a coral sweater. I was frustrated, but #life. I remember showing up and being disappointing that it wasn't a surprise engagement party. I remember my friend said " Not everything is about you." The party was fun! If you know the Tillery's you know they go big for parties! Catered food, a live band, heck even a photographer to capture every bite of cake my nephew puts in his mouth. The rain had kept most of us inside, or inside my father in law's wine cave. Yes, you read right, he has a cave full of wine- of course there are other things, but mostly wine. The sun had begun peeking through the clouds in the later part of the afternoon, and my mom and dad decided to head home so they could miss the next onset of rain and make it home sa

Scary Movies

I do not do scary movies. Let me repeat.. I DO NOT WATCH SCARY MOVIES. I hate them. The last scary movie I saw was Prisoners in 2014. I walked out of the movie theater, I was terrified, and I couldn't sleep for weeks. I need to protect myself from the images that replay in my mind and scare me. The other night we were bored and decided that Mission Impossible number 86 was good for a saturday night. I was pleasantly surprised. I liked it, not scary. . The next night we decided on Sicario. I watched the trailer and decided that I could do it. Well 5 minutes into that blasted movie, they are showing bodies that were bagged alive into the wal

The green sparkly dress I wore definitely itched me most of the night, but it was worth it, because it was fabulous.    I spent most of my 2 weeks off watching gilmore girls, or trying to get in my fitbit steps because Lord knows I consumed more calories than a professional football team. Jonny had to work for most of the break which God bless him, because every morning when he got up to leave for work, I'm sure I was snoring and sprawled all over our bed, because I most definitely was not prioritizing working out, or cleaning our house, or ya know anything else you are supposed to use a break from work for.   On December 23, my younger sister got engaged! It was so wonderful and she was so surprised and every bit of it was fabulous! So was the 10 hours of driving we did in 24 hours to be there for this glorious occasion. The onl
